Privacy policy

This policy explains what Ample & Oak collects when you visit our store or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number if you give one, the items you bought, and payment confirmation. We do not see or store your full card number; our payment processor handles it.

When you browse: the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached us, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

To process and ship your order, send order and delivery updates, handle returns and refunds, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and understand which products and pages work so we can improve the store.

We use advertising tools from Meta, TikTok and Google to measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. These tools receive information about visits and purchases on our site.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments; our fulfilment partners and carriers, who need your name and address to deliver your order; advertising and analytics providers named above; and authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your information for money.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising using the privacy choices link in the footer of every page, and your browser's Global Privacy Control signal is honoured as an opt-out. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any of them.

Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights under those laws. We will not treat you differently for using them.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and delete other personal information when we no longer need it for the purposes above.

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
